Janina Schmitt joined the TIGGES law firm in 2021. The focus of her legal work is on advising national and international clients in the areas of corporate law and international business law.

Furthermore, she has gained extensive experience in French-speaking countries and is part of the firm‘s French Desk. Janina Schmitt is a member of the Club des Affaires en Rhénanie du Nord Westphalie and supports the activities of the Franco-German business club.

    Janina Schmitt completed her law degree at the University of Mannheim
    in an integrated combination degree programme Corporate Law LL.B. /State Examination.

    During a year abroad as part of the Erasmus scholarship, she also studied at the Université Toulouse 1 Capitole in France.

    During her legal traineeship, Janina Schmitt gained experience in a medium-sized law firm for insolvency law and insolvency administration in Stuttgart, where she also worked in the area of corporate law. She spent her elective period with a German-French legal and tax consultancy firm in Paris, where she gained experience primarily in German and French tax law.
